I went, for what I thought, a quick neighbourhood walk on a wet and windy day. Long and behold the sun popped out and revealed, what I call, a jackpot. The large metal bin of the local high school was literally boasting with graffiti, rust and layers of peeling paint. I could not believe that something so ugly could be a true treasure. 184 photos later I finally returned back home. What an amazing and gratifying walk that was. No matter whether summer or winter, sunny or rainy, night or day, we Vancouverites love our sea wall. I often take a walk along the Ambleside Beach in West Vancouver.
