I had fun watching these black, slender and long tailed crows digging out anything edible from the sand;
all while I was enjoying a MEXICAN
On my sunset stroll on the beach I was intrigued by the
shadows of my body the sun cast on the golden sand.
A memory mandala.
I must have taken around 60 snapshots of various shoe and foot prints in the sand. Always trying to find a better one or different one.
seeing it all from the comfort of my reclining lawn chair.
I don't know how they do it...
But I was thankful he stayed around long enough for me to sketch him.
This was a fun ride.
The horse was small but the experience was big.
Needed to capture the memory on a piece of paper.

The design of this mandala was inspired by the patterns on some gigantic grasshoppers I saw in a souvenir store.
The beach was almost empty except for the guy sitting in a plastic chair right in from of my nose. So instead of getting annoyed with his sedentary disposition, I drew him.
